do i need to know how to play backgammon?

Nope! The NBC is for players of all skill levels and anyone interested in learning the game. There will be plenty of experienced players at the NBC that’ll be more than happy to show you the ropes!

Am I required to play?

Absolutely not! We love to hang and catch a vibe almost as much as we enjoy rolling some dice. Come as you are - Unless you’re not ready to have a good time - then please stay at home.

Should i bring my board?

Yes! We’ll have some boards available, but we encourage our friends to bring a boards if they have one (or ten) available. After all… Home Court Advantage is a real thing!

will there be food + drink?

You bet! Our partner host - Elegy Coffee - will have a food and drink available for purchase. Rest assured, you can wet your whistle and fill your belly.

What if i forgot to RSVp?

It ain’t no thang but a chicken wang! While we like to estimate how many guests will be attending our events, an RSVP is not required to show up!
